More info about our nail courses Nail or beauty course times The course times will vary slightly depending how it goes on the day. We let you know approximate finish times when you book. Please do not rush off at the end, as if you have not successfully fully completed the course requirements a certificate will not be issued. Other acrylic nail courses may offer a kit too, but it is probably very small! Be aware what is in acrylic kit for your money. On our acrylic nail courses, we practice on each other. This is better than bringing a model, as you feel how it is to have acrylic nails done too. Also on our acrylic nail courses, you see it twice. We are very experienced in providing acrylic nail courses for beginners. Most students who come to our acrylic nail training have little or no experience, that is why they have decided to do an acrylic nail course. How can I learn nail extensions in one day? Short course have been around for over 30 years its not a new thing. No one is saying you will be a competition winner in one day but you will learn techniques and it will set you off on your journey. You never stop learning if you are serious. Many Companies may knock lower priced one day training, to make themselves seem more appealing. It may be they are losing customers to lower priced better value faster training and so .this i how they would respond. The owner of Top Talons has had 3 salons and previously 8 clients per day 5 days a week for over 20 years. Also taught in colleges and other private training schools. All from.... one day training courses ongoing! Who says they don't work. We offer ongoing intermediate and advanced nail courses, instead of making you pay and do it all on one go over a longer period. With us you have choices to do more or not. Should i pay more for my training? That's you choice, One if our trainers paid £10.000 for her beauty/nail training and informed us that if she had her time again would not do it. Another therapist £12,000 for private training and said she told us she felt it was overpriced. Companies who charge more for longer courses want you to train with them, but we like you to make your own mind up. They will give you the ongoing support and backup but... so will we! They use excellent products- so do we! Yes we make a profit, as you will when you are doing nails, but we do not make as much profit as the larger Companies obviously! That would possibly be something they may not mention. Does everyone pass? You a get a certificate of successfully completing your chosen course, as with most private training schools, including many well know branded certificates, see here, which will say virtually the same.. Except ours are Guild Accredited by Beauty Guild. Can i earn money after the course? We let you know what your potential earnings could be, not to persuade you to train with us but, because it is true and we have the evidence not just from the owner, who has been making a living doing nails for years but from many students who tell us and reorder! If you do nothing after your course, you will earn nothing in the nail industry. If you advertise and practice you will earn money. What will my nails look like if i am being practiced on? It is a training day, you are not there to have a set if nails done its a learning day. Many students surprise themselves how well they do. Many have commented that their nails are better than they have had in a salon. This is a beginners course. We do offer intermediate and advance acrylic sculpting, stilletto, glitter fades, 3D acrylic etc. You can choose to come back or not. We are an open and honest Company providing a value for money service and want you to decide for yourself if what we offer suits you. Can i go to the wholesalers after your course? Why do that when you will pay considerably more. With many well know brands, you buy the products from them afterwards, same with us with our high quality products but great prices. Mail order We can resupply you by mail order after your acrylic nail courses. You can call in your order or buy online. If you go to your local wholesaler instead of buying from us, for convenience, you will pay significantly more for your products, even on their vat free day! Our products are much less price overall and even with postage ours are still cheaper. Nouveau Nail products are very high quality brand, giving an excellent finish when applied correctly. Pricing and marketing Top Talons is a training school, with over 16 years of teaching experience. Our acrylic nail courses are approved by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists. (you can get insurance to start your own business) Guild approved certificate issued for insurance purposes. Discount available with The Guild on insurance via Top Talons. All teaching carried out by professional fully qualified tutor with over 20 years of experience. Top Talons is an accredited nail and beauty training school. Students practisc on each other, so they must have no nail extensions on. Training is for full day 10am - approx 4.30 /5 approx You must practice afterwards to improve your skills. Small groups only 2 -14 per session for individual attention (we have extra tutors for larger classes) Venue- Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Accomodation can be advised on for overnight stays. A £75 deposit must be paid upon booking and the balance will be due on the training day. So after the course you can money from your kit which you will take with you. You could make approx £50-100 from your kit just charging your friends only £10-£15 So there is very little risk to yourself, and this then helps pay for your course.
